I choose to believe the Bible because it's a reliable collection of historical documents written down by eyewitnesses during the lifetime of other eyewitnesses that report to supernatural events that took place before, of specific prophecies and claim that their writings are divine rather than human in origin.

Stephanie, Heather’s sister – had surgery on her aorta yesterday. Pray for the wisdom for the doctors and nursing staff as they care for her and for Heather to remain calm during this time.
David – still not fully recovered and having angina symptoms today. Pray he remains calm. Pray for his full recovery and that Heidi will have wisdom during this time as she takes care of him.·
Claire – recently lost her father (pray also for her Mom as she adjusts to her loss), had just returned from a teaching mission throughout India, injured her back and then, was recently in a car accident. She is recovering but has a vexing broken wrist, cuts and bruises and is unable to drive for at least six weeks. She was also scheduled to take leave soon. Pray for her healing, patience and that God uses this time in unexpected so she is rested and renewed.

His Protection
“’And to the angel of the church of Smyrna write: ‘The first and the last, who was dead, and has come to life, says this: ‘I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy by those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
“’Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days.
